Massimo De Lillo is an Italian composer, arranger, musicologist and educator. He studied cello with Vito Paternoster and Pietro Bosna, and composition with Riccardo Santoboni, Pierpaolo Scattolin and Andrea Manzoli, graduating with honours at the Conservatory “N. Piccinni” in Bari. He also specialised in film music with Luis Bacalov at the Academia Chigiana in Siena. He has been awarded in important national and International music competitions. Some of his compositions have been recorded for the Digressione Music label. He also studied philosophy, graduating with honours at the University “A. Moro” in Bari. He has published several essays on musicological, philosophical, psychological, linguistic and pedagogical subjects. He actually teaches in the scientific high school “G. Salvemini” in Bari.
