Wai Leung William So is a composer, film composer, pianist and transcriber from Hong Kong. He recently graduated from Berklee College of Music, majoring in Composition. William writes music in various styles such as Classical Contemporary, Classical, Film, Jazz and Pop.
During his studies at Berklee, William learnt from fantastic professors such as Alla Cohen, Greg Glancey, Francine Trester and Michael Weinstein. He was awarded several prize, including the Berklee achievement scholarship 2018, MTNA Massachusetts Composition Competition 2nd place (Honorable Mention, Young Artist Category) 2018 and 1st place at the 200K SoundCloud Plays Melody Competition 2017 (357 entries in total) .
William strives for perfection in any of his composition, and he hopes that his music can bring joy to the world.
