Jon Tho first started learning the piano when he was fifteen. After attaining grade 8, he studied under Khew Sin Sun where he learned how to work with DAWs (Digital Audio Workstation) and VSTs (Virtual Studio Technology). He enjoys using his imagination and creativity to create film and orchestral game soundtrack for midi mock-ups and writing tunes for live play-down sessions. His composition and arrangement style is influenced and greatly inspired by masters such as Maurice Ravel, Claude Debussy, Erik Satie, Charlie Parker and John Coltrane. Jon is a composition major from LASALLE College of the Arts under tutelage of Belinda Foo and Felix Phang. He enjoys writing music that are enjoyable for both audience and performers.
